THE Ospedale DAM
A half an hour from Porto-Vecchio and its beaches, Ospedale (U Spidali) is the first mountain village 900 meters above sea level. It takes its name from the old hospital in the region that was there before. On leaving the village towards Zonza, a small embankment can marvel at a spectacular view of the gulf. THE BAVELLA PASS
The Needles Bavella, also called Horns Asinao are among the best known landscapes of Corsica. You will come across the statue of Our Lady of the Snows, August 5 honored all, U Campuleddu (hole 8 m in diameter in the middle of the rock), the sights and the many natural mineral outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing, via ferrata and canyoning. The forest of pines, cedars, pines and chestnut trees, offers a magnificent vista and provides shelter for birds of prey.
THE Cuscionu PLATEAU
Vast area of highlands, the Plateau is of interest Cuscionu exceptional heritage, its pozzines, endemic flora, its chaos ... granite hiking trails will show you a natural high and a very sensitive place of traditional pastoralism in the south Corsica.
THE Piscia DI GHJADDU WATERFALL
Near the dam of the Ospedale, a forest road takes you to the waterfall fir "A Piscia di ghjaddu" that springs from a wall to make a mineral fall of 70 m. A ballad not to be missed!
