The Regional Nature Park of Corsica, a classified territory created in 1972. In terms of area, the Park covers 40% of Corsica’s territory, that is to say 350 000 hectares. A territory with a diversified natural and cultural heritage. The Park extends from the north-west to the Alta Rocca in the south-east of the island. It stretches the entire length of the watershed where one finds the island’s highest peeks, many of which are above 2000m : Monte Cintu to the north is 2710m and Monte Alcudina to the south, 2134m.
 
 
Hiking :

- The “Mare a Mare Sud”: To enable visitors to discover Alta Rocca, the Regional Natural Park of Corsica has set up a hiking trail that links Porto-Vecchio to Propriano. This medium-altitude mountain trail is adapted to even the most casual hiker. It goes through the main villages of Alta Rocca, where accommodations have been provided for hikers (You have to book in advance).
 
- The Sentiers du Pays: Laid out in loops, these trails are signposted, marked, accessible to all, and can be completed in a day (from 2 to 7 hours of walking).
 

- The Sentiers du Patrimoine: (from 1 to 1.5 hours of easy walking) introduce you to villages, their history and culture.
